Did you know there are 4,487 unreached people groups in the world today? That represents 43% of all people groups worldwide. Behind that number are millions of men, women, and children who have little or no access to the Gospel.

Tomorrow is International Day for the Unreached. It is celebrated on Pentecost - the day when the gospel was heard in many languages so it could be taken throughout the world. Would you consider praying each day for the unreached?

Imagine the impact of 75 years of faithful prayer for global missions, the unreached, and the persecuted church.

Imagine a five-year-old child learning to pray not only for their own family and community, but also for children around the world who are persecuted for following Jesus. Imagine that child praying for people who have never heard the name of Jesus and for missionaries willing to leave home, learn new languages and cultures, and faithfully share the hope of the gospel. Then imagine that child continuing those prayers throughout their lifetime.

The ministry of the Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross extends far beyond their own chapters and churches. Through the In Christ Alone Fund, members and supporters help empower women and girls to serve Christ around the world. These donations provide grants for mission work and ministry opportunities that are transforming lives through the gospel.

You may know by now that the Anglican Persecuted Church Network and the Anglican Freedom Network are planning a regional conference on global Christian persecution and human trafficking in September. I hope you will consider coming to this important conference at All Saints Anglican Church, Woodbridge, Virginia!

The New Wineskins Conference (NWC), coming next month, September 17-20 in Ridgecrest, North Carolina - has become my favorite of many Anglican conferences I have attended through the years. The New Wineskins Conference, only 5 weeks away, brings people together from all over the world. Many of them desperately need prayer. Some are missionaries serving in the most difficult mission fields – places of poverty, spiritual oppression, and even violence. Others are serving in churches in our province who also need a touch from the Lord. If you have experience in prayer ministry, will you consider helping to meet this need by being part of the team that prays for them in person? We’ve seen many breakthroughs in this ministry!

Because we are created in the image of God, the Creator, we too are creative beings. Creativity is part of our design, a reflection of His nature within us. We don't just connect with God intellectually—we long to engage with Him through all our senses.
