Anglican Arts in Missions Network desires to inspire, connect and encourage artists to use their gifts to further the Kingdom of God.

Anglican Arts in Missions Network (AAIMN)

There is a renaissance of the arts in the church.  The Spirit is raising up artists to use their gifts to disarm defenses and create genuine, authentic connection to their communities in the name of Jesus.  The arts allow the soul to emote beyond words.  Christians have a unique role as messengers of the Lord’s persistent, gracious call through and to all creation that his love is stronger than death and He is for you.

Inspire: Be inspired through the beauty of art and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Our devotional and meditation blogs are designed to nourish your soul, deepen your faith, and spark creativity in your spiritual journey.

Connect: Connect with a community of artists who share a passion for creativity and faith. Through online gatherings and Zoom meetings, there will be opportunities to network, learn from practicing artists, share experiences, and pray together as we pursue God's calling.

Encourage: Find encouragement through authentic stories, insights from contemporary artists, and practical resources for growth. Whether you are just beginning or have been creating for years, we want to support and strengthen you in your artistic and spiritual journey.

I am an artist and an Anglican priest,  and I am the founder and executive director of Creo Arts, which is a non-profit that exists to bring beauty, goodness, and truth to the world through the arts. I am also artist-in-residence at Asbury Theological Seminary where he champions the integration of art, theology, and mission.

I have also written several books, including How Beauty Will Save the World: Recovering the Power of the Arts for the Christian Life; Liturgical Mission: The Work of the People for the Sake of the WorldEver Ancient Ever New: The Allure of Liturgy for a New Generation; Simply Anglican; and Marks of a Movement, which has been translated into Korean and Spanish.

But the most important thing to know about me is my family! I am married to Kay, and we have three daughters and live in Wilmore, Kentucky, where we have a downtown community art gallery.

Rev. Kate Norris

I married my high school sweetheart; we’ve been “partners in crime” ever since. Sean, a musician, and I, a painter, lead art outreaches, blending Word, music, and visual art to give a Gospel Word to a target community.  During COVID and through a series of miracles, we founded our arts ministry and long-time dream, Dandelion Ministries.  We have two beloved daughters and live on Long Island, NY.  We are both ordained Anglican priests, and both serve as Canons in the Anglican Diocese of New England.  We are passionate about preaching and teaching the Gospel of the grace of Jesus and see the Spirit’s dandelion seed...

Before he died, my father, The Very Rev. Dr. Peter Moore, gave us the verse John 12:24, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”  The dandelion puff captured this core Christian truth of death and resurrection; he had used it as the image for inFOCUS.org.  A dandelion is also considered a weed.  The dictionary defines a weed as a plant that grows profusely where it is not wanted: mainly in human-controlled settings, such as farms, gardens, lawns, and parks.”  What a perfect description of the grace of Jesus.
