Anglicans in Prayer: Raising Generations of Prayer Warriors for Global Missions
Imagine the impact of 75 years of faithful prayer for global missions, the unreached, and the persecuted church.
Imagine a five-year-old child learning to pray not only for their own family and community, but also for children around the world who are persecuted for following Jesus. Imagine that child praying for people who have never heard the name of Jesus and for missionaries willing to leave home, learn new languages and cultures, and faithfully share the hope of the gospel. Then imagine that child continuing those prayers throughout their lifetime.
Joy in Every Circumstance: Serving with Shade in Tanzania
While serving with Shade in Northern Tanzania, one Role Call Apprentice witnessed firsthand the deep joy, resilience, and faith of believers living in difficult circumstances. Through education, advocacy, and Gospel-centered care, Shade empowers children with albinism and other vulnerabilities to live with dignity, courage, and hope in Christ. Amid cultural stigma and hardship, students are discovering that their true identity is not defined by fear, appearance, or societal rejection, but by the unconditional love of their Creator. This powerful testimony reflects how God is transforming lives through compassion put into action.
What Believers in Nigeria Face Every Day—and Why the Global Church Must Not Look Away
Christians across Nigeria continue to endure extraordinary persecution, violence, and displacement, yet the Church remains steadfast. During a recent journey through Plateau State, ministry partners witnessed firsthand the realities many believers face daily—villages destroyed, families displaced, churches burned, and communities living under constant threat. Despite these hardships, Nigerian Christians continue planting churches, sharing the Gospel, and carrying Bibles into some of the most dangerous regions in the country. Church leaders such as Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi, Canon Panshak Panbish, and Rev. Moses continue to faithfully shepherd believers through unimaginable suffering while calling the global Church to prayer. This powerful testimony is both a sobering reminder of the cost of faith and an inspiring witness to the endurance of the Church in Nigeria.

Using Your Influence to Fight Human Trafficking
Using your influence to fight human trafficking is to leverage all forms of media to advocate and educate your followers. There are a variety of faith-based organizations creating and sharing content, and by simply engaging with this content, you are providing the creators with support. By sharing their content, you allow many more people to see each post, podcast, article, short video clip, or book review. This kind of content activates people to take small actions that could lead to big changes in the future.
Be Sleepless for the Persecuted: The Story of the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
“No Christian should sleep well at night while our brothers and sisters are being martyred,” said the late Charles Colson. Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship and former “hatchet man” for President Richard Nixon, was one of the top Christian leaders who in 1996 committed to promoting a worldwide day of prayer specifically to pray for persecuted Christians.
Praying for the Persecuted: The Anglican Persecuted Church Network
As Anglicans, we have been taught about the power of prayer in the Kingdom of God. But do we realize such prayer should focus on fellow Christians, and especially on those who are persecuted for their faith?
It’s sobering, but also joyful, to learn about the persecuted church around the world. At the Anglican Persecuted Church Network, we organize prayer for the persecuted church and coordinate for action.
Coronavirus — An Opportunity to Advance the Gospel?
We live in tumultuous times. But we can take comfort, as do our brothers and sisters in hostile areas and restricted nations, in trusting that our loving heavenly Father holds each of us in the palm of His hand.

An Exciting Journey with the Persecuted Church
Twenty years ago, I heard a strong message on Christian radio from the Word of God that changed my life. The Lord used it to wake me up to what is happening to millions of my brothers and sisters in Christ and stir me to action!
