Our God desires not only to save and teach you, but also to sanctify you. He wants to lead you to a steady life-rhythm of joy and peace, and to equip you for ministry. In this Immanuel Advanced inner healing prayer training, we invite you to learn and develop proficiency in a way of praying that enables you to hear God’s still small voice, and have a conversational relationship with Him. At John 10:27, Jesus says, “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” This is the Immanuel lifestyle, a way to abide in Christ and practice His presence. You will also learn a reliable method of inviting Jesus to speak His healing word into painful memories of your life, and distortions you have believed.
You will also learn how to facilitate the same experience for others in healing prayer ministry. The Immanuel Approach by Dr. Karl Lehman is simple, transferable, and thoroughly Biblical. It uses ancient prayer practices (practicing the presence of God, gratitude, and listening) and includes insights from modern neuroscience.
We’ll learn the Biblical, theological, and neurological bases for the Immanuel Approach; the why and how of using positive memories and deliberate appreciation; dealing with attachment trauma; discerning counterfeit interactions; advanced troubleshooting and Immanuel interventions.
This class is labeled “Advanced” because it is aimed primarily at those who have some familiarity with the Immanuel Approach. It continues a module from the Winter. Even so, beginners are welcome. Every session includes teaching by Rev. Clancy Nixon and team; Q&A; demonstration or structured small group prayer ministry; and a group de-brief of lessons learned.
Clancy is the Director of Renew at the American Anglican Council, and the co-leader of the Renewal and Healing Network of New Wineskins. He leads conferences, does trainings, and coaches leaders. He has over 30 years of experience in training healing ministers.
We meet most every Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 Eastern time by Zoom, starting April 7, 2026 till June 9. To sign up for this module, click here. For this class, we ask a donation of $125. Required reading is The Immanuel Approach by Dr. Karl Lehman, available at Humble Shack at this link. The book costs $35.
