Christians across Nigeria continue to endure extraordinary persecution, violence, and displacement, yet the Church remains steadfast. During a recent journey through Plateau State, ministry partners witnessed firsthand the realities many believers face daily—villages destroyed, families displaced, churches burned, and communities living under constant threat. Despite these hardships, Nigerian Christians continue planting churches, sharing the Gospel, and carrying Bibles into some of the most dangerous regions in the country. Church leaders such as Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi, Canon Panshak Panbish, and Rev. Moses continue to faithfully shepherd believers through unimaginable suffering while calling the global Church to prayer. This powerful testimony is both a sobering reminder of the cost of faith and an inspiring witness to the endurance of the Church in Nigeria.

At Gafcon IV, I was the youth delegate from the ACNA’s Diocese of the South, representing 53 churches. To serve this end, I made it my top priority to learn all that I could from fellow, global Christians in order to bring this learning back with me. I can say that what took place at Gafcon far exceeded my expectations.
