Network News: Updates from AISMN

Aloha friends, and welcome to the first Anglican International Student Ministry (AISMN) blog! We hope that this additional means of contemporary communication will provide an enhanced and current sense of community of those involved or interested in sharing God's love and hospitality with international students.

AISMN exists to mobilize, connect and resource Anglicans to love, serve and learn from international students and scholars.

Mobilize: Let us encourage and equip Anglican churches and Anglicans to welcome, love, serve, and learn from international students!

On May 4th, Leiton and Lisa Espineli Chinn shared the ISM vision with about 50 clergy of the Diocese of Ft. Worth, TX at the invitation of Bishop Ryan Reed.

Connect: We are still seeking to discover one another … who in the ACNA is currently engaged in any kind of outreach, ministry, or intentional friendship with international students? If you know of any Anglican church or individuals who are reaching international students, please let us know!

Resource: In addition to what is on the AISMN Resource page, we'll share new resources related to serving and ministry among international students.

On April 30th a new missions book (Missionary Statesman, Strategist, and Servant) was released that has a chapter on ISM by AISMN Co-Leader Leiton Chinn.

We'll also share News and Announcements:

Please consider participating in the annual, national ACMI Conference, June 9-11, which will be a hybrid option with virtual and in-person in several locations! ACMI has been equipping those who minister among international students since 1982.
