Title: The next step: from mission tourist to global partners

Description: Over $500 million will be spent sending mission teams from North America this year. Is it worth it? Any mission - short or long-term - involves four groups that should be positively impacted: goers, senders, hosts, and the larger community. Were the ministry sites empowered to bear fruit after the missionaries left? Are the community members fighting over the resources left behind, creating division instead of unity? Were missionaries prepared to engage in reciprocal partnerships, both giving and receiving? How do we help the mission - pre-field, on-field, and post-field - be done with excellence and success?
