Title: Missionary care: what churches and missionaries need to know

Description: Dr. Bill Taylor found that 22,000 missionaries a year return home for preventable reasons. In a post-9/11 world, pastoral care and proactive, intentional cultivation of missionaries' spiritual lives are critical so they can stay in vital, fruitful cross-cultural ministry for as long as God has called them. Churches and missionaries will benefit by assessing missionaries' current needs and developing strategies to make growth, healing and wellness attainable goals for cross-cultural servants.
