What are we shooting for in church-to-church overseas partnerships? Relationships, which is much more just funding projects. These core principles developed for partnerships between AMiA churches and churches in Rwanda provide a partnership paradigm widely applicable to global partnerships anywhere!



Partnerships-General Understandings

What guidelines will help a cross-cultural partnership with a sister church “foster and increase meaningful relationships and ongoing mutual interaction for the furtherance of the Gospel and mutual growth in Christ?” Originally developed for AMiA/Rwanda Sister-to-Sister Partnerships, these general understandings are essential for escaping the giver/receiver dependency model.
