Q: How do I register for New Wineskins 2016?
A: Visit the New Wineskins home page (http://www.newwineskins.org) and click the “Register Now!” button in the center page. This will open the registration form in a new tab/window for you. Register early to avoid price increase after March 28th!
 
Q: How much does it cost to register for New Wineskins 2016?
A:
The conference is $235 per person, with a scholarship rate of $135 per person for long-term missionaries, seminarians and spouses. Infant's, children’s and middle school ministries—nursery thru age 13—are offered on a first-registered/first served basis: $85 each/$170 per family/free for missionaries & seminarians’ kids. ***All registration costs will increase $10 per person after March 28th***
 
Q: Does my conference registration include room and board at Ridgecrest?
What kinds of rooms and camping facilities are available at Ridgecrest?
A:
You must reserve your room and meals separately with Ridgecrest. Call Ridgecrest at 800-588-7222 M–F 9:00am–4:00pm EST. Ridgecrest has a wide variety of housing options: deluxe rooms, standard rooms, family apartments, youth dorms for 6 per room, RV-camping. Have roommates’ names when making reservations. There is a minimum deposit of the first night’s lodging for each room.  Notify Ridgecrest of cancelations by 2/8/16 for a full refund and 3/8/16 for a half refund.
      The New Wineskins 2016 Reservations Package at Ridgecrest includes 3 nights lodging and meals from dinner April 7–breakfast April 10.
     Ridgecrest Commuter rates: $12 for 1 day, $25 for 2+ days (plus meals).
     Ridgecrest forbids the use of alcoholic beverages of any kind on the premises.
 
Q: Where is Ridgecrest Conference Center? How do we drive there? Is bus parking available?
A:
Ridgecrest Conference Center is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, fifteen miles east of Asheville, NC—a beautiful location within a day’s drive of most of the eastern U.S. From I–40, take Exit #66 and turn right on the access road on the north side of I–40. Bus parking is available.
 
Q: What is the closest airport? How do I get to Ridgecrest from the Asheville airport?
A:
Ridgecrest is thirty-five miles from Asheville airport. Transportation from the airport is available for a reasonable charge.
 
Q: Is childcare available?
A:
A children's and middle school program and nursery will be offered on a first-registered/first served basis, $85 each/$170 per family. Free for missionaries and seminarians' kids (still first registered/first served).
 
  • Nursery aged children (0-3, and those older, but still in diapers) will be in child care.
  • The pre-school (out of diapers) elementary school aged children's program is "G-Force: God's Love in Action" based on Acts 17:28a, "In God we live, move, and exist"
  • The middle school aged children's program is "From Passion to Projectile: Discerning you gifts and calling"
 
Q: Is Ridgecrest handicapped-accessible? 
A: Ridgecrest is not designed for those with severe physical disabilities—it’s hilly with many steps. Please make your reservations early and explain your requirements. Every effort will be made to provide assistance.

     New Wineskins should finish by 11:00am. Lunch is not included on Sunday. Participants staying on
     for the South East Asia symposium (1pm-4pm) should arrange with Ridgecrest for lunch.
 
Q: Is the parallel re:mix conference happening?
A:
Rock the World Youth Mission Alliance is sponsoring the parallel re:mix conference, equipping students and young adults to change their world starting in their own neighborhoods and out to the ends of the earth. Q: What should I pack?
A:
Comfortable walking shoes, sweater or jacket, small umbrella, evenings can be chilly at Ridgecrest.
Meeting dress code: business casual or anything international!
 
Q: What can I do to help?
A: Do everything you can to bring a team from your church to New Wineskins 2016. The conference has had a catalytic effect on many congregations when church sends a team. Invite clergy, lay leaders, youth ministers, Sunday school teachers, mission mobilizers, and potential missionaries! We would be happy to send you as many conference fliers as you will use—email <karen@newwineskins.org>.
     Pray, pray, pray! New Wineskins 2016 is a massive undertaking for a small staff. Ask God use New Wineskins 2016 to send out laborers into his harvest field!
 
Q: How can I give to New Wineskins Missionary Network?
A:
There are two ways to give online to New Wineskins.
     The first is to click the “Donate” button on the left-hand side of the home page and then follow the instructions. This fund goes to New Wineskins Missionary Network's operating expenses, which helps make New Wineskins 2016 and all of our ministries possible.
     The second way to click the “Give to Scholarships for Missionaries & Seminarians” button above and then follow the instructions. This fund allows for long-term missionaries, seminarians, and their spouses to attend the New Wineskins conference at the scholarship rate. Missionaries and seminarians' children attend for free!
