Sharon Stockdale Steinmiller has been the director of New Wineskins Missionary Network since 1994. She has spoken in churches and dioceses around the country, as well as at the first “Plano” conference, and the Hope and a Future conference. Before beginning to work with New Wineskins (formerly ECMC) in 1987, she taught English to businessmen and university faculty in China from 1981 to 1985, where she and her teammates were the first Christians most of their students had ever met…

She has helped train more than 200 American and Canadian Christians to teach in China. Before going to China she taught English to refugees in California and worked as an international student specialist with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

•  What are God's priorities for the world and the Church? We'll give you a glimpse of what God has been doing from Biblical times until the present.
•  What are the opportunities? We'll introduce you to avenues for work as partners in mission with developing national churches and take you to the  frontiers where Christ has never been named.
•  How can your church have an effective outreach locally and all the way to the ends of the earth? We can help you set priorities and enable you to plan the next steps to a growing ministry in the U.S. and overseas.
•  What are your specific needs? We can adapt the seminar to fit your concerns. We can focus in on new strategies in world missions, developing a missions committee, Anglican/interdenominational missions agencies, effective holistic ministries, reaching out to international students, and unreached people in the U.S. and around the world.
•  What will it cost to hold a Missions Awareness Seminar in your Parish, Diocese, or Convocation? Transportation and hospitality for the leaders (New Wineskins staff are happy to stay in a home), plus an honorarium ($500 suggested).
